Bowls, CFP, and other Disappointing Games Thread

I truly think a healthy BYU is the best B12 team. Showed it last Saturday night in the only non CFP bowl sellout against the non opt out Colorado team.

ASU QB, RB did too much talking before this game. That was a mistake.

Why should they unless they’re playing for NFL draft stock? Transfer portal is closed. What do they have to play for in these meaningless bowl games?
What a “ME generation question”—The same thing they played for until the sport was ruined by selfishness and money— school, team, personal pride. Good grief..

Per breaking reports, the Sugar Bowl is PPD until Thursday.

WSB confirming the report.

This case seems to have really disturbed the FBI; it seems they have a high level of suspicion that it was more than a single, isolated event. That seems to be the reason for postponing, and it makes good sense. What a mess for fans and media! 100% of hotel rooms cannot be extended. Think of the number of missed flights and the need to get a new seat to get home. It is a real mess.

how funny would it be to beat a team 2 out of 3 times but lose national championship to them

SMU, Boise, ASU, and Indiana haven’t exactly given any hope that any teams like that should be given any future shots at being considered one of the 12 best teams.
Meh, Bama lost to a 7-5 Michigan team, Usce lost, Tennessee got embarrassed the dwags will lose
