Bowls today

I'll be at the Maryland BC game. It was part of my friends Lions season ticket package. Free ticket and they serve alcohol in the club level. Why the öööö not. Already at the casino drinking. Nothing like being hammered by 2:30 on a Monday watching two 6-6 teams.

I'm in a bowl game pick 'em on Yahoo with some other crazy Tech fans trying to win the money pot.. anybody wanna give me there picks for today's games?

Miami can't hold out much longer. Too much depth and talent.

MSU hardly had the ball in the 1st half and there were only what - 4 possessions for each team? Game playing out well for Miami to minimize the effect depth will play in the game.

except for giving up that TD at the end of half

My ranking of awful noises in sports:

1) Barking
2) VT's stupid ass loud-speaker turkey noise
3) FSU's constant chanting after every ööööing play
4) Vuvuzelas
5) When the TV microphone picks up one fan hooting like a tard in a whole crowd (why does this happen so often?)
6) CLANGA

7) That god damn touchdown song OU plays. Heard it too many damn times during 2008 and after cause of the no defense thing.

Lol at the ESPN unbiased commentary at halftime of this game - previewing the NC State / Vandy matchup: Vandy has the best player (Cunningham), better QB, better offense, and better defense (NC State is favored by 4).

There was a lot of buzz around Fitzgerald for MSU this season - and rightfully so given his size and running ability. His rushing stats were thoroughly impressive. That being said, he's terrible in the passing game. He's had two balls hit defenders in the chest and is missing people by a mile left and right. If he can fix that up in the off season he could make MSU competitive again.

Hmm, I figured this game would be over shortly after halftime. Gonna be one of those photo finishes, isn't it?

IDK. Everybody's waiting for MSUs offense to take over, but MSU hasn't been able to handle Miami's offense. They had one three-and-out and the other four possessions all reached the MSU 10 yard line (they fumbled after a 20 yard completion at the 10). MSU defense is going to have to fix something or it wont matter if their offense can get going.

As bad as this is, I still see Miss State winning it like 24-23.

Also, it's amazing how much the CFB world likes shotgun more than under center. MSU ran a variation of zone-read about 5 or 6 plays in a row there and nobody bats an eye. We run triple two plays in a row from under center and it's boring football.

The boring football jab is ingenuine, for the most part, IMO. We didn't exactly have a whole lot of people excited about our brand of football under the last guy either.
