I'm curious what players do y'all think can breakout this season or be an X factor

I think for Offense it would be Sims I mean the offense lives and dies by him in clear asspect.

While the Defense I think will see a big leap by Zeke Biggers I mean he is huge if he can get his technique worked on he has huge potential to help the defense make a big leap.

I think the transfer QB from Clemson with the odd name will be a big breakout player, if they give him a chance to prove himself. I honestly don't think Simms can do it.
There is no player named Simms on the team, so not only are you too stupid to know his name, you're too lazy to even bother with the transfer's name

Offense: Leo Blackburn, EJ Jenkins, Dylan McDuffie (Dontae will have a good year too I believe but that shouldn't be unexpected). I actually think we will see more breakout players on offense based on scheme and matchups alone. Imagine going with a 1 back 2 TE set and having the following receivers on the field all at once:

6'7" EJ Jenkins
6'5" Leo Blackburn
6'5" Dylan Leonard
6'3" Peje Harris

Defense: Myles Sims, Charlie Thomas, Josh Robinson, Keion White

Well, EXCUUUUUSE ME, Mr. arrogant, high-and-mighty, know-it-all. I guess we should all just fade away into the darkness next to your all-encompassing and overwhelming brilliance, knowledge, and sparkling personality..

Honestly whatever you were trying to say here is lost beneath the thick and bitter crust of your hatred for Collins. Any ray of hope has to originate somewhere else with little to no credit given to Collins. It is pretty gross.

Yes, I hate Collins, and I have hated him ever since the first quarter of his very first game at Clemson, when he showed from the start he didn't have a clue. And yet I still go to every home game and some away games, because there is always hope. But my hope does not lie with Collins; it lies with players who might rise above his lousy coaching and assistants who can do what he obviously cannot do. I would even say that I hope he is gone before the middle of the season.

Sorry, I don't speak dick.

@JJacket Translation?

X-factor- whoever the G-C-G is. I still believe one the best things happened last year was Westin Franklin getting baptized by fire last season having to face elite talent like Jordan Davis and ND DL. Now you understand what level you need to strive to be or match to compete at a high level. Fortifying the middle the of the OL run or pass is imperative.

Breakout player- Kaleb Edwards. Liked what i say from as the Big Nickel in the spring. Think he will be a big time play maker for us on defense

LMAO!!! So it was us facing a generation QB & elite Defense where you lost faith?

They made a whole lot of people look inept. Wasn’t it the fans asking us to build our offense to our strengths. We ran exactly what many expected us to and got whooped!

On offense: Dontae Smith and Jeff Sims. Need both of them to really show out this year and I think that they will. Ofc, a good OL is the most important component.

On defense: Kaleb Edwards. Really liked what I saw from him last year, seems very talented. Also intrigued to see what Kenyatta Watson has to offer, I really want him to get PT.
