As of 2007, Georgia Tech had the most generous alumni donor base, percentage wise, of any public university ranked in the top 50,

You know the school and the AA have different budgets, right?

It's almost like our alumni and administration care more about academics than athletics and that has been a major problem for our football program over the past two decades.

Is Texas considered “the South”? Cause we overwhelmingly have less money than either Texas or A&M.

The endowment is also more at UVA and UNC.

Additionally, endowments are heavily regulated and carry tons of stipulations on how they’re spent. No school is just going to dump money from the endowment into athletics. That’s such a stupid thought.

Design a better mouse trap. That’s all Tech needs to do to bring in billions.
GT actually had a sponsored project at one point doing basically that. It was an IoT mouse trap type thing back when IoT was cool and going to change the world.

The more you know.
