Brooking is a Cowboy.....

Hate to see him go. Glad he got to catch on with the Cowboys though. Dallas is a good town, I have relatives there, and I think he'll feel right at home.

Dallas is a lot like Atlanta except flatter and with a lot fewer trees (at least big real trees).

In fact, a couple of similarities are eerie:

1) The south side is the "bad side of town" but once you go farther out it is okay but still probably not as nice as the north side.
2) The gay area is almost in exactly the same place geographically.
3) The north part of the perimeter/perimeter equivalent (from 1 to 3 on the clock) is the real overbuilt mess.

The main difference is ATLs secondary major skyline is 3 miles away while Dallas's is 30 (in Ft Worth).

Most towns the south side is the "bad side" -- as most rivers in the US flow south -- richer people wanted to live upstream of poorer people to get cleaner water, was the old school philosophy. And people continued that tradition despite plumbing/sewage treatment plants.

Though I'm upset Brooking is now a Cowboy, I feel I can move on.

The Falcons' future is bright under Coach Mike Smith and GM Thomas Dimitroff.
