That's a mistake. VT won't do better.Tin foil time: they've decided to fire Fuente, and told Foster he still won't be HC afterwards.

That's an interesting way of saying "Turn back into the shit school they've always been."It’s gonna be a weird time for turkey nation going forward. They hit a dream run for nearly a decade where Beamer/Foster were able to put up a fence around the 757 while it was pumping out 5* guys like Vick, Vick, Tyrod, Wilson, Williams while the Big East wasn’t putting up a fight and then transition to the ACC while FSU, Clemson, and Tech weren’t great.
They’ve now lost their stranglehold on 757 recruiting, lost their HC/DC combo who put them on the map, lost their perceived home-field advantage as they struggle to sell tickets, burnt their bridge with Torrian Gray who would be the logical choice to replace Foster, and are about to realize that there’s no real reason for their program to be any good without 5* DT QBs taking snaps.
GobblersVPI.
Fuente is in over his head. I think they go bowling this year but that’s it. They have not been clicking since Beamer left and Foster has lost his edge.
They have 7 home games, three of which are ODU, Furman, and Rhode Island, and have BC/WF from the Atlantic. Probably the easiest P5 schedule in the country. They could start 6-1 and not be ranked.
