Bullish on the future

My favorite part of last night was when they tried to introduce the new AD on the field. The dude was fuming at the state of the game. You could practically see the fire coming out of his nose.

When was this is the game and was it broadcast on tv? I was at the game and somehow missed it but have game on dvr.

Some dude I talked to during the game last night said that Long has said that Collins would never let him call the plays he wanted to call. It appears in watching the games under Key thus far that Collins exercised a lot of veto power over all his assistants, most notably Thacker. That being said though, from what I have seen thus far without the cancer called Collins running everything, even now, being allowed (I assume) to call the offensive plays he wants to call, Long still sucks as an OC. His play calling, mainly, but not limited to, plays in the red zone defies all reason.
The difference in the defense has been night and day post Collins. Key has said in interviews that the punt unit was first priority when he was handed the job and a lot of attention was focused there. He can’t devote the same level of attention to the OL that Thacker gives his unit. Had a change at RB coach during the bye week and hard to know how that affected things. He deals with a lot of distractions now that he didn’t have a few weeks ago and has to rely more on Long to fix problems with the offense.

Seemed more to me like he was uncomfortable with a TV camera up his nose.

If he wasn’t warned before, he’s quickly learning how unfriendly the Atlanta media is to GT. His new situation is akin to having Auburn grads covering everything Crimson Tide.

I'm sorry. What has Key been doing the past 3+ years then? That was his sole job. And he failed.

Typical Tech fan. Let's rinse, wash, repeat prior mistakes.

He was recruiting players to a clown show run by a con man. It’s a miracle we have any players.

Key and Collins came in attached at the hip and spewing the same BS. Key has had plenty of time to develop a decent line and has failed completely.

He looked like he didn't know what to do with the camera introducing him late in a game where the product on the field was horrible. Would you?
Well he can't hear what the talking heads are saying. So all he has is the camera at a weird angle with no indication of when the shot will end. So does he watch the game? Does he smile and wave at the camera for 30 seconds? I wouldn't know what to do.
