Bunger, whats fraudulent is not being reasonable and being able to give credit when it is due. You praise our rival for getting it done against Colorado inspite of all the adversity and bad play.... but you cannot do the very same for GT, your own team supposedly?

bunger simply won't be happy as long as Gailey is coach no matter what our record is. He isn't worth arguing with.

Oh, and if you happen to be reading this bunger, we take joy in ugag's losses because they're ugag and they are losses. It has nothing to do with how we do against them. If you haven't figured that one out you really aren't a Tech fan.

Maybe Bunger didn't read this but I did. I am constantly amazed how people sling around you are not much of a fan. I don't know Bunger, never met the guy but he is a Tech grad, didn't have help from Daddy to stay in school. True many of his predictions are not correct. Is that a reason to jump him and start saying he's a dog fan, or sucking the crotch or what ever some of you guys say? I've been a fan and man before many of you guys were born, yet I've been told I'm not a fan. I really think that many here are accepting of mediocrity, would you have accepted mediocrity in you education? I think not! I hope and pray that CG keeps it going but I have been disappointed many time as I'm sure you have been as well. So lets not jump Bunger or anyone else until we see the final game played with a win in Athens!

It's also a sign of depth differential.

Secondly, it is just a simple fact of life that Tech under Gailey has not come from behind by more than 10 points to win the game. That's a sign of a poorly motivated team.

It's also a sign of style of play. I don't particarly like the fact that our chances are greatly reduced when we're down by multiple possessions but there aren't many offenses out there that are built to play their best football down 10 or more pts. We're at our best offensively when we have the option of running or throwing (Football 101).

And for those who want to use profanity toward my moniker... the Bunger-Henry might be the biggest, ugliest, meanest building on campus, but it's been standing for many decades and will be standing for many decades to come. It occupies prime real estate on Tech campus. It makes no apologies. It just stands there, ugly and imposing, and does its job.

Try reading my comments again oldfoggy. I didn't say he wasn't a Tech fan if he doesn't like Gailey. I said if he hasn't figured out we hate ugag and like to see them lose no matter who they play then he isn't much of a Tech fan. Get it?

I was making a general statement! I did read and I understood well! I and probably many others don't even think of UGag! That is until we play them, I could as many other probably as well give a hoot less what UGag is doing or not doing! I am amazed how so many people talk about UGag all the time! Just because a person follows UGag and takes delight to see them lose is OK but I prefer to see the brave and the bold put the whooping on UGag!
 
Oldfoggy will never get it.

We are 5-1, ranked solidly, and still mediocre LOL. AND he is desperately holding out hope that UGA will beat us because he refuses to eat crow.

I have yet to see how oldfoggy has demonstrated this 'not accepting mediocrity' in his own life, yet he still clings to this sad broken record.

In the REAL WORLD, it tales a lot more than 'not accepting mediocrity'.

Anyone with half a functioning brain would admit that at ANY school being in the upper tier of the conference and competitive with your arch-rivals is exceptional.

If you do that, championships will come.

Fine, but my post wasn't in general it was about a specific point. You know, the old "my 2 favorite teams, Tech and whoever is playing ugag". I'd say that most Tech fans feel the same way. If you don't that's fine with me. But bunger was suggesting that we like to see ugag lose from some inferiority complex. It's not a feeling of inferiority, it's Clean Old Fashioned Hate, passed down from Dodd, Alexander and Heisman. Okay with you?

Funny I hate also and I hate their egg sucking fans! I just never think of them in a positive light. To me even thinking that UGag won or lost got me is thinking of them.

GT crew get a life! U don't get anything. Who in the hell was talking about mediocrity this year? You! I never said don't jump on Bunger! He's a grown man and can take care of himself. My point was because a person does not take much stock with CG does not make him less of a fan than those who suck up to CG. We have excelled this year but it takes more than one year to make the last four go away! Now you get if your half brain can understand (you are the one with half a brain right?)

We should have hired Bill Curry as our football coach. He fits into Calvin's jersey better.
 
Look GTC, really saying but I guess I need spell it out for. Don't jump Bunger or anyone for that matter who makes a prediction and it turns out wrong. Jump him for making a completely invalid post. Sure his prediction was wrong and I felt it was the minute I read it. But I'll say it again Bunger from what I've been told is a GT man and can take all the heat and defend himself adequately.

By the way, Chan was not dressed up as Calvin and he did not fumble the ball. Calvin had a bet with the defense that if he fumbled the ball within 20 yards of our own endzone that the defense could not hold them to less than 7 points. Anoai, Richards, and MJ took the bet with K-mike and Wheeler doubled down. Calvin had so much action he fumbled the ball and then collected a large sum when Maryland scored.

So THAT is what happened. Calvin demanded excellence from the defense, and the defense just didn't deliver. They accepted mediocrity and allowed UM to score.
 
I saw an old fraternity brother at a charitable golf toonamint today. It had to be the first time I saw him in 24 years. It was just a quick hello, but asked if he was going to games. He said Never again until Gailey leaves.
He had a look of defiance on his face when he said it.

Even though CG has done the right thing (even if it was forced) to allow Nix and others to do their jobs, I believe that so many now just think they would lose face with their anarchist movement group if they admitted that things are now better.

That is just sad.
