Got a round trip from lax for $182.36 plus four nights in a hostel downtown for only $67.

I can't wait for that weekend.
Flying out Thursday coming back the following Tuesday.
 
I don't think you'll find a bigger advocate for Pittsburgh than me... but 5 days in Pittsburgh is a long time. I'm going up for 3 days... which is enough.
 
Yeah, I could have gotten my flight four days a part and paid 270 but I preffered the 182 deal out of LAX. that is a coast to coast flight basically. What a snag in 2016 - Where the dollar has no worth and this economy has been run into the ground by presidents who like to TAX high SPEND high!!

So you "saved" $88 and have to spend an extra day in Pittsburgh?

What can I say? I owe $1,450 a month on my 30 year mortgage after throwing down 110 K so life aint all that easy. Gotta save every little bit. I want my child to go to private school where he's cared for not one of these prison public schools.
 
I say prison public schools because out here where I live, California,. the public school system is having some issues with the staff and teachers not taking very good care of the kids. Call it "progress and change."
 
Gotta be nicer than a homeless shelter. Heat in October and a comfortable mattress in a non smelly room. Got to be a little better than a shelter
 
I'm thinking about making the drive since I can drive for about the same time as it would take to fly connecting through Chicago, Philly, or DC. If I do go I will book a hotel room, because I'm not poor.
