Have quarterback Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno indeed played their final games as a Georgia Bulldogs? That appears to be the case. UGASports has learned that both players have made up their minds and are expected to announce their intention to apply for the April NFL Draft.

WSB tonight said they'll both be announcing soon and No-Show will be doing it in his home state.

Any idiot saw this coming. Why would they stay? No-Show was definite outta there, he hasn't touched a book in years.

Looks like those championship hopes might be back on ice for another 29 or so years.

And by "member", they mean, "penis".

I actually came up with a number of possible reasons they might stay. Then I went back and read what I had written.

The word diploma was nowhere to be seen.

:laugher:

Nice! Not that it's anything we didn't already expect from the #2 football program in the state.

losing moreno will hurt. yes, caleb is a very good back, and i am sure they have guys with the physical and athletic ability to leap men, but Knowshon has that mental toughness that can take over a game. rare. his leadership made up for stafford's lack thereof. Stafford, while he had all the tools, is not a good leader and never took georgie anywhere. maybe he will grow into a competitor in the sunday league, he will certainly get a shot.

i think a little bit of addition by subtraction on Stafford. an unmotivated talent is like a very valuable object too heavy to carry

Knowshon to Detroit?

The unfortunate reality is ugay will not miss much. They've got a lot of depth and will likely be just as good next year. I just hope we continue to beat them.

Peyton left Tennessee and then Tenn won the national championship. We can't be concerned about uga - we just need to take care of our business and everything will fall into place.

However, to the extent this brings sadness to uga fans, I'm spilling over with joy!:D

Stafford moved out of his apartment in December and has not registered for Spring classes yet. Same with Moreno. He is back in NJ.

between those two leaving and the 8 year(seems like) tenure of massaquoi coming to and end... couldnt really ask for more... I even had a dream last night that the 09 game was 24-3 at the half.. haha man i didnt want to wake up from that one

best quote from the miami game had to be the PA guy announcing 'and that breaks the Yellow Jackets streak of 50 yard runs at two'

Losing Massaquoi will hurt more than Stafford or Moreno. uga has always had a stable of QB's and RB's, but WR's have been their achilles (had to spell-check that). They'll still have Green, but that will be all.
