His competition talent level is not that good. I definitely see some good skills there. I’d see him being used as a multitool- H-back, Tight End, full back. Having someone there that can block but also make a defender or two miss is wonderful to have.

At Baylor he will play against the best teams in Tennessee.

Brentwood Academy 9 NFL players including Derek Barnett and Jalen Ramsey (Brandon Adams' high school)
MBA 7 NFL players
Baylor 7 NFL players
McCallie 5 NFL players
Ensworth 3 NFl players

There are 19 current NFL players from Tennessee high schools. Seven of them are from the 12 team Division II Class AAA. These are all private schools with a college prep focus. This should be our focus for recruiting in Tennessee. The best schools are in Nashville or Chattanooga making for easy recruiting trips.

Our QB in my year got drafted by the packers a handful of years ago (albeit in the 7th round and didn't last that long... But still it technically counts).

That number for our state is over 130 in nfl from ga high schools.

New jersey has more than Tennessee and no one talks about the great recruiting state of jersey in general. But like anywhere they have pockets too

While Tennessee has pockets of ok football, when the original poster said competition is not that great he was basically not far off; in general its not. The depth of teams in that state is weak.
