Camp is in Session

Coaches know they can only tell recruits “we’re building something special at GT” for so long. Eventually, recruits want to see the proof. So do the fans.
Yep, but the schedule is BRUTAL this year. Would be nice to have a program defining win vs. Clemson, ND or UGA...

The schedule is overblown. Clemson and UGA are obviously giant hills to climb but ND, UNC, and Miami are all significantly overrated. Pitt, UVA, VT, BC, and Duke are all mediocre to bad. KSU and NIU should be gimmes.

I would not be surprised if there are no more than 3 teams we played that are ranked by the end of the season.

Our schedule is overrated. Clemp is not as strong, mutt is their normal ranked high pre-season and will end up 8-15, ND is a decent team but no juggernaught, the rest of the ACC is hovering around #50 & yes that includes Unc and da U. We got K st and NIU as pushovers. Let’s not let the pre-season rankings go to our heads, our schedule will look much different in the rear view mirror.

A bunch of wins would certainly bring on the street cred, but when/if they lose they need to play sound competitive football and avoid being blown out.

I think we need to at least win one or two that we're expected to lose this year. It doesn't have to be one of the big three, but we're only supposed to win four or so this year and I don't think that'll be enough to keep the hype going. The good news is that playing sound, competitive football should take care of winning a few more games.

Completely agree that there can't be any huge blowout losses.

Not sure about how the new punter is doing, but when asked about his range, new place kicker Brent Cimaglia said he told CGC, "Just get me across the 50."

Camiglia is not like other FG Kickers. He looks like he could curb stomp a bouncer at a strip club.
