Can I ask everyone for their opinion about this

well for me personally i was just glad chan finally showed a pulse over there...it looked to me like he wasnt trying to humilate but instruct...if thats the case then im glad....maybe he sees bilbo as the future of the program

IMO, Suggs has been given the run of the roost because he's more of an older guy (22) and was briefly the starter at another major D1 school whereas Damarius has no such credentials or experience. Whenever he is given the reins he gets different treatment. Suggs should have been getting more face time on the sidelines but the coaches probably figured they had it covered with AJ and he was mature enough to know what he needed to do. I don't think Chan's interaction with Bilbo in the game the other day had much of anything to do with a change of heart. I think he entirely understood that he had a rookie coming off the field after a series. AJ may or may not be much use as a QB but he's not a freshman either.

Even though we disagree on Gailey, and it seems to me their are about as many on both sides of the issue. We all want Tech to win.

However, looking for a way to bash someone, whether it's CG, Geo Bush, or Beeware, no matter WHAT they do, is what ticks me. And I think ylojk8 made that point very well. That's why I quoted him.

It was strictly an observation of Coach Gailey's actions toward his two Quarterbacks. I was sure others saw it also and I was inviting opinions and not bashing the coach. Truth is the biggest basher who voiced an opinion was ylojk8! Of course his bashing is toward anyone who does not agree with him. Most replies to this thread have been thoughtful observations and nothing else.

Gailey finally looks as if he is coaching on the sideline and now you want to know why? Who freakin cares as long as he is finally looking like he gives a damn.

This is a thought provoking post.

After thinking about it, Its possible that Chan just snapped. To me, Chan had the look of a man finally giving in to a year of frustration with the whole thing, and more specifically with Bilbo.

I think Chan believes that DeBo is a talented athlete that just did not apply himself this year, and did not play him because of a poor work ethic. The style of coaching he received on Tuesday was probably good for both of them.
I realize I am drawing conclusions based on assumptions, but it fits IMO.

The one thing that CG has done an exceptional job of is keeping us guessing.
