I know a couple of months back frosh recruit Ajenavi Eziemefe got in trouble for doing some stupid things at his HS. I have probably missed it, but I have not heard a peep on this as far as disciplinary action, etc. Does NE1 know what the outcome was (will there be any impact on him missing games this season?)

I havent heard anything else on it... and assume all things are still pending....
 
Word is he's enrolled at GT this summer. He'll be with the other freshman when they report Aug. 2nd for practice.

What ever happened with him and his group of friends regarding the "senior prank", I'm just not sure.

Peronally I'm not concerned about it at this point. I understand wondering what's happened in his regards because he's one of our players, but we do know he's a student at GT and on the football team. That's enough info for me.

He may be in school but that type of activity is not a good signal.The maturity that we expect from our players must be BETTER than other schools or we are not what we professs.
I would love for him to grow up and be a great success at Tech but the odds are against that at this point.imho

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">When I was 18 y/o I did some pretty stupid things. The reality is this young man got caught doing something stupid. If you are looking for kids that have not done stupid things you will NEVER field a football squad. You would have a hard time getting 5 so you could play BB.

I am SURE that the Tech people spoke to him at length and they are convinced this is an isolated incident.
 
I gather that what he did involved a rival school's mascot. When Army and Navy do this sort of thing, everyone chortles and congratulates the perpetrators on their school spirit. I think it's a little early to give up on Ace.

I just didn't know all the facts and whether or not this was serious enough to merit suspension. I was probably no big deal--just a prank, but I wanted to know if he will wear a GT uni next month or not. Seems it's not that big a thing

And I still did some stupid things for a laugh
and in response to peer pressure. Give the kid
a break. He'll grow up ALOT at Tech, just like
most of us did.
 
Haven't been able to find anything on that nor the Collins thing, since both happened. But, Swarmee reported ACE was on campus for summer conditioning.

There was a rumor floating around briefly that up to four GT players would sit out the Vandy game, then that died.

We'll see.
