Can you say........

Thanks BOR... fair enough! Hope you're moving back to 127 next season so I'll have someone to taunt me from behind still!

You are correct. Another one of life's great mysteries: StoneHenge, what killed the dinos, 4 years of R. Ball. All interesting phenomenon. :laugher:

Negative Ghost Rider. After becoming the biggest critic of the chairback seating, when they cut the price, I totally sold out and bought two seats in CL-2. I plan on keeping them for as long as I can.

Contact, unfortunately, I don't know if Gailey has shown a tendency in his career to use all the weapons afforded to him. Mike Cox didn't get one carry last year and rarely did we see Reshaun Grant in the backfield as a different option from Choice. I hope that the new OC uses a variety of different looks and personnel.

I hope that Chan will gives J Bond the same freedom with the offense that he gives Tenuta with the defense. I think Bond's earned that right based on his resume. We now have 2 very talented and experienced coordinators in place. As long as Chan can fight the temptation, and let Bond control the offense (personnel, playcalling, etc), then we should be in very good shape going forward.

Your assumption that Bond may not be in control of the offense and player personnel is not an accurate one.

That's the way to stick it to "the man"... ;)

Yeah, else why would Bond pass up similar opportunities at the "U" only to take the job at the "I"?

I hope you guys are right. When I say control, I mean control like Tenuta has with the defense. I'm not talking about the "control" that Nix had.

Hey, at least I refused to pay the "processing fee" for my Tech donation. Who makes someone pay extra to process their donation? Only the fools in the GTAA.

What about control as defined by Janet Jackson?

True. In the airline business, there are no fees for online bookings while their are fees for telephone bookings (it is much more costly to run a call center than to maintain a website to handle reservations). When GTAA moved from telephone sales to online the fee increased - it doesn't make sense.

I read the other day that 77 million people filed their taxes electronically. Since most had to pay a fee to file electronically...

Back to the thread ...

I just got back from watching Embry Peeples play his spring football game tonight. It was not an intrasquad game, but rather a game against a cross town team.
I was also able to meet Embry's father. He is a very nice man and he was very proud that his son was going to Tech. He was very high on Tech's academics and sounded like that was the key factor in the decision to commit to Tech. What a concept!

The game was rather sloppy as expected for a HS Spring game and their Offense tonight did not gel until the second half, when Embry burned throught the defense for a 57 yard TD run. They ran the I nicely along with a good fullback runner/blocker.
Embry is number 22, and he looked like Tashard going through the line and into the defensive backfield, except for one thing; Embry is faster.
And I mean fast!! At 16 or 17 years old, I believe he is now faster than all of the players on Tech's Team.

He is light and his father said he will focus on strengthening his legs this summer. He's light but he is cut, probably from running Track this Spring. I imagine he'll put on 10 or 15 pounds in the next 2 years.

He showed good vision and moves along with the breakaway speed.

In traffic and in the open field, he is a talent.
