Candidate from Schultz article....

Sounds good, but D-Rad will have a hard time pulling him away from Bobby Cox. You don't get that kind of production in LF; he'll want to hold onto him.

Still hoping for Groh even though there are positives and negatives for his unique situation.

The best comment was from an UGA fan ironically. His point was that a hot young DC would have a great stage to prove himself at the top level on a CPJ coached team. If you are a confident DC then what better way to make a name for yourself than to turn around the GT defense and supply the missing component to make it a national contender?

I think this offense would make any coordinator drool just a bit....think about it...if the offense is working your defense isn't going to be on the field but 27 minutes a game....the last offense i'd want to be associated with as a d-cooridnator is some pass happy outfit.

Reminds me of Jon Tenuta...

Dont worry. If we cant get him this year then we can certainly have him next year. Cox will be gone and we wont have to deal with that problem.

I also heard they may still go after Damon which could make him available too...

Is Tenuta done or what? He's currently unemployed, right? I don't want him back but I find it curious his name is not being bandied about.

Ha....You've got that completely bass-ackwards....

Really, because they are both dominating personalities. Gailey left him alone and he was ok. If PJ tried to interfere when it wasn't working I think Tenuta would either quit or be fired after the dust settled.

Providing CPJ actually wanted to hire Tenuta (I'm sure he doesn't, and he won't), Tenuta would get along with him fine. You know why he never got along with Gailey or any of the offensive staff? Because he didn't respect them. They were a joke.

Tenuta would have respect for Paul Johnson, I'm sure of that.

I thought it was because we scored 12 points against Ugay and 6 against Wake in 2006 season ending meltdown?
