I love our damn team. I love this school. I love pulling for the White & Gold.

...but, you have to admit, it's been a tough few years. And I may or may not have tuned out of the off-season news cycle for the most part in order to try to cope with my frustration over our recent on-field performance.

But now I'm back in. All in.

But be real with me: what's the prognosis? I can read all the ****ty pre-season predictions out there, but what are we expecting on The Flats this year?

That's a wimpy best case. Best case is to run roughshod over everyone and win a championship and then bang the mothers of our opponents. Obviously...

Agree, it is this in a nutshell. Hope for the best; but prepare for the worst. I think we could go anywhere from 3-9 to 7-5. I think we have a decent chance of shocking people and walking off the field in the Benz with a win just because we want it more and now have the right coaches on offense.
 
It's not tough....based on what I've seen. Regression and no improvement. From the HC down

Clemson- L
WC- W
Ole Miss- L
UCF- L
Pitt- L
Duke- W
UVA- L
FSU- L
VT- L
Miami-L
UNC- L
Ugay- L

I'm rolling the dice with Duke. I didn't feel we were better last year and got lucky. And Duke's HC is already better than our current. It's tough to be optimistic and while I applaud others', I think they're just Collins lovers who probably focus more on our cool Unis than the product on the field. It won't get better with Collins as a coach. So 2-10 and he gets fired and hopefully Stansbury too. I see us losing by 110-120 pts combined in all the losses.

Unless, QB1 breaks every stat record known to man and he wins the Heisman. Then 6-6

What have you seen? Kids hasn’t even reported to camp let alone play a gamev
 
I am expecting another 3-9 season. I am expecting Collins to use the same word salads, to hand out as excuses. I expect the same fools to believe every word that Collins says. I expect Sims to do better, but the defense to do worse. I expect to get blown out by Ole Miss and UGA. I expect to stay within 14 points of Clemson. I expect to have our best game against UCF and still lose. I expect wins over WC, Duke and VT. I expect close loses to FSU, UVA and Pitt. But, all in all, I expect another highly disappointing season.

3 yrs of horse kaka.... but you're right they haven't. You seriously expect a complete turn around given the losses we've had depart to other schools. Not additions because they have no barring as of yet

I'll take that wager to say that he won't succeed anywhere. He hasn't as of yet with 2 stops on his resume. Give me one place HE'S turned around and been a success.

Oh, my fault. "I've seen" you basically go against any one on here that calls it like it is and says Collins is a joke. Other than that, I haven't seen you offer a logical explanation or why. And I'm guessing, you still have your mom cut the crust off your sammiches. That part I haven't seen, but I'm thinking I'm probably close. What have you seen Honey BooBoo?

You answered your own question. He has only had 2 stops as a HC and the first for only 2 years. So he's basically had one opportunity to turn things around somewhere and this year is his chance. If he doesn't then we move on.
