He's rapidly becoming my second favorite coach behind Big Bee and CPJ.

Listened to Kirby's post-game presser, or at least the first few minutes before he fellated his team, and he was very, very complimentary and respectful to CBK and the Tech program.13:55 seconds is where he discusses the embrace with Kirby and overall reflections on the rivalry.
Really liked his perspective.
I think that was in response to the PI they called on us when the ball was tipped.I thought it was interesting that they said the review from the league was immediate and told the officials to move on. Nothing to see here!
If you add in Ross in 1990, then he’s easily second. The math doesn’t math.
Oh great. I hope he’s ööööed himself.Listened to Kirby's post-game presser, or at least the first few minutes before he fellated his team, and he was very, very complimentary and respectful to CBK and the Tech program.
We had more than enough opportunities to win the game. Yes, the officiating overall was home cooking but that's not why we lost.
That 4th down PI in the the end zone was absolutely without a doubt an SEC official keeping UGA’s playoff hopes alive. Now I will admit the PI call against UGA in OT should have been a no call but without the PI call on us there would not have been an OT.I think it's fair to say it's one of the reasons we lost.
On the 4th down PI, even without the tipped ball that was not, under any circumstances other than the refs keeping their boys in it, a pass interference. That was textbook coverage, and there's no excuse for the refs getting it wrong. A similar point could be made about the absolutely ridiculous holding, where he grabbed inside the pads around the collar. There's no excuse for missing that call. Those two calls, alone, would be cause for griping by anyone who wants to actually watch football.
The fact that those weren't the worst calls of the night is what sends this into conspiracy territory for me. You can see King's helmet move before any other part of him on the hit. The crown of the helmet was at a 90° angle to the ground. That wasn't called because A) The SEC wanted to make sure u(sic)GA gets into the playoffs even if they lose their conference championship and B) He'd be out for the first half of the SEC championship game, and we can't have that. Texas gets into the playoffs no matter what happens in the SECCG. If (god forbid) u(sic)GA ends up losing to Tech, despite the conference assist, they need to win the SECCG to get in.
Now, should Tech have won anyway? Yeah. There were plenty of opportunities to beat both the zebras and the dwags. The extra try in OT, the missed chip-shot field goal, and the prevent D all played a critical role. However, I'd maintain that Tech shouldn't have to with by 14+ in order to actually win the game.
I thought it was interesting that they said the review from the league was immediate and told the officials to move on. Nothing to see here!
Yeah, that says it all. They weren't about to let the mutts lose.I thought it was interesting that they said the review from the league was immediate and told the officials to move on. Nothing to see here!
DuringReview from the league when? Post game or during the questionable play(s)?
The math doesn’t math.
Agree! Brent is my second favorite coach too!1. Big Bee
2. CPJ
3. Ross
4. Key
Ross will remain in 3 even though he won a Natty, he left after the following year for the siren song of coaching in the NFL. Even though he made it to a Super Bowl, Joe Montana routed the Chargers. I've always wondered how we had done had he stayed a few more years and pursued an NFL job later on and we could have avoided B*** L****.
