Uhhh, did this guy watch the same game? Allen caught a huge 3rd down pass on the game-tying score. The aback counter and rocket toss are the only two plays we can predetermine him to carry the ball.
Just keep winning, and shut em all up.
 
Yeah, but this one was bad. I mean really bad. This report went off on a huge tangent. He must not know much of GT and Clemson games historically, this game was right on par.

I wonder what he would say when Ohio St. and USC struggled when they won their NC, only winning some games by 3 to 7 points in over unranked opponents in 4 games when they were ranked number 1!
 
Looking at the NY Times, almost all of Ray Glier's articles on college football from last year and this year are on the SEC (speed).
 
Wow, this a great day for CBS sports. They found a writer dumber than Dennis Dodd. I wasn't aware such a thing existed. I was amazed when someone discovered actual magnetic monopoles, but this is the find of the century.

This, by far, is my favorite line:

You shouldn't write things about teams before you see them play. If anyone thinks UNC is rising, then they're certifiably retarded.

The fact about the game is this - Clemson was a top ten team to start last season, and they quit on their coach. They've still got some horses in the stable that scare the bejesus out of me. We made it out of that game with a win, and Ray here seems a little butt hurt over it. He seems like another SEC cocksucker.

I didn't think my opinion of the New York Times could drop any lower but I stand corrected.

To be honest, I was wondering why we didn't give the ball to Allen more throughout the game. Yeah he had a huge 3rd down reception, but that is like the only time I can remember him touching the ball in the 2nd half.
 
Is there some subliminal reason for him to imagine Anthony eating a hot dog?

I wonder if he applied to go to GT and they snubbed him, and he's carried it as a grudge ever since?

You have to remember that the a-backs are generally only going to get the ball in open space. The pitch isn't meant to go to the a-back just for him to get pummeled to the ground. And the reasoning that the guy who wrote the article uses his ridiculous. He makes it seem as if Anthony Allen is the only player who could have managed to take that run to the house. Does anyone here honestly not believe that Dwyer could have made the same play in the same situation with the same excellent blocking?
