GT has late offer to possibly take PJ away from SMU. If true this is not Rads choice he meets none of the characteristics he laid out in press conf.

I really hope this is BS. But the story is starting to make more sense.
 
He might not be Rads choice, but is he a good choice- ie will win football games.
 
I hope this isn't true! PJ seems like he would be a bore! Maybe he will win but he doesn't strike me as a marketing machine to fill the seats and excite fans.

And after all, winning is really not the main concern here.
 
Win enough andthe seats will be filled- and we will get plenty of sidewalk fans.

Gailey wasn't fired because he didn't 'excite fans.' He was fired because he didn't beat Georgia. Just sucks for him that Georgia is really good right now...

There were also those little things like not having a season with less than five losses, never finishing in the top 25, and never producing a QB above the level of mediocre that may have been factors in his demise..
 
In case you haven't noticed PJ is not very charismatic. To add more fuel to the fire the rumor in Macon tonight is Hatch turned us down b/c he couldn't bring Muschamp as DC. I heard earlier this week that they wanted to come together one way or the other and bring Kirby Smart and Geoff Collins with them.. Even if it is not true the longer this keeps going the more rumors and Tech looks bad. Percdption is everywhere and whatever the last rumor people around the state hear they will believe. Take it for what it is worth.

I am predicting averaging at least 8 wins a season,top 25 finishes with regularity,beating the mutts 50 percent of the time, a genuine caring professional coach that the fans and gt will come to adore.
 
I don't understand the people who are lining up behind specific candidates so heavily.

I would be pleased with most of the candidates I have heard mentioned. They all have strengths, all could succeed at GT, and all could possibly fail at GT as well. We will never know until we give them a try.

Huh? Muschamp went from the leading candidate to not even allowed to be DC?

Doesn't make any sense to me...
 
I sure hope this isn't true. We could have had what most believe to be our top two candidates in a single package. But we said no because one is a mutt? And he wouldn't have been the HC.

That's terrible if true.
