With 2, 3, and 4 losing, what the hell does the committee do now?

Heres what the Top 8 looked like before this week.

Bama
Clemson
Michigan
Washington
Ohio State
Louisville
Wisconsin
TAMU

Im guessing...

Bama
OSU
Clemson
Louisville
Michigan
Wisconsin
Washington
Penn State

LOL @ 4 B1G teams being in the top 8. That conference is a joke.

Ya, I tried not to play the game of move up or just win to hold serve as we have no idea what they use for criteria for these mid-year rankings.

I think Clemson stays in the top 4 because they got a great resume. Louisville hasn't played much of anyone else beyond FSU and CU yet are destroying fools. That's why I jumped them. Michigan's loss tonight was ugly and the worst of the 2/3/4 losers by far.

No way. Iowa is scrappy and it was a road game. Washington got absolutely dominated, at home. That's the worst loss of the 3.

Michigan gets beat by OSU. Penn State wins out. Penn State to B10 championship.

Eh, Iowa was barely over .500 at 5-4. At least USC was Top 25 caliber. I didn't get a chance to see their game so take with grain of salt.

I watched most of the second half. It was brutal. Culminating with the qb tripping on his own feet for a safety, after taking a 20 yard sack to the turf monster, to effectively end it (though they were already down 2 scores with less than 1:40 in the game).

My bold ass prediction: same exact top 4.

CFP committee if that happens...

Think about it though. We've seen the CFP committee forgive a loss from a top 4 team before, have we not? Didn't Alabama lose one last year or the year before and sit pat?

IMO, the committee just says "yeah those games were bad, but these teams are still the top 4" <eye test, game control, etc>

Clemson will be 4 at absolute worst. They beat Louisville so no way will Louisville pass them. Clemson also controls its own destiny. Louisville doesn't.

True. As I mentioned earlier, it's tough for me and I'm sure other fans to break from the win hold serve/jump when team ahead of you loses. The Coaches', AP, and BCS has got us brainwashed.

Alabama has lost a game every year but 1 under Saban (2009). I think they were moved from #1 to #4 in 2014 at one point.

Yep, this is why fans the nation over have been shitting their pants about the CFP rankings from week to week for the last 2 years, because the CFP committee's methodology is "whatever the öööö we want, whenever the öööö we want it."
