The potential hire screams reaching for cpj part 2. With more underperforming defense, a better offense but none of the success to follow like there was, because he isn’t a winner in lower competition

That game was bizarre. Lots of miscues from JMU. Got away from them late. Same thing happened against Marshall right after they got ranked. Got a little too big for their britches.

My wife and FIL went to JMU and I like what the Sunbelt has done to make an interesting conference.

Doesn't make a huge difference. We had more issues offensively than players. Our offensive woes were coaching related more than anything.

Coastal has their coaching down pat, so this is a much bigger blow for them.

Also JMU way more motivated to play CCU than UGA playing us.

If their coaching is “down pat” then missing their starting QB shouldn’t matter that much.
 
Amazing how some here rationalize the bad stuff that happens to CJC's team but not the same type stuff that happens to CBK's team. Bear in mind that CJC's team is a 9-2 team that has been under him for 4 years now and CBK's team had won 10 games in 3.33 seasons before he took the helm. He finished the final 2/3 of the schedule at 4-4. We should scrutinize CGC far harder on this stuff, but there's a bunch of confirmation bias going on here.
