Championship Day Thread

Here’s the beautiful thing. Last year, the PAC, Big12, and ACC champions were at risk of missing the playoffs if they had a loss. This year, a PAC team could win the Big10 and Big12. A Big12 team could win the SEC. And a AAC team could win the ACC.

If that happens, no 3 loss SEC or Big10 team should get consideration.

That's probably true, but in general if one were to find himself thinking he needs to root for uga for any particular reason, one should remind himself of the stench of rooting for Notre Dame against Colorado and we see how that turned out. In these cases it is best to not root at all. Don't watch the game if you must, just see the results afterwards and save your purity along with your sanity. Obviously in that particular case it wasn't really an option given what was at stake, but in this case, today, even the very notion of rooting for uga FOR ANY ööööing REASON WHATSOEVER, especially after last week, is downright blaspheme and is as banworthy as anything that has ever been. Holy shit, mind not rite str8 down to the depths of Hades. Can I get THWG 24/7/~365.25!!!!

One of my good friends is an A&M fan. Even he isn't rooting for UGA today.
 
Which team did the pundits get more wrong this season: FSU or ASU?
 
Amazing to hear them say if SMU wins Arizona State would be a 12 seed. Of course, they had also argued for Alabama over Miami and never mention Army. So, a 9-3 Alabama is seeded higher than an 11-2 Big 12 champion that has been on fire here at the end of the season? I don’t think so.

Eh, technically yes but I'd rather guarantee the ACC get representation on par with the other leagues than hope the committee violates their own "but it's Bama" clause and puts them both in.
