This is the point in the season that fans can start handing out grades to the coaching staff. Has the team improved since the beginning of the season, or are they now being overmatched by teams with worse records? Clemson has an obvious talent advantage, so I don't consider that loss to be much of an indicator. But if we finish 0-3 and miss a bowl opportunity by losing to a team with only 1 conference win, that's a coaching problem.

Eric Singleton has been one of the great surprises this year. Can get open and go deep. He gets a mulligan for his two misses at Clemson. For us to beat Syracuse we cannot afford to have misses in the passing game, margin of error is too close in this game. King can be a great QB if we can protect him, and that has not been the case this year, so roll him out and call stuff to get the ball out quick!
