Not a great picture for recruiting... just saying...
I remember watching an Alabama game when Curry was their HC. At one point, a player who had just committed an unsportsmanlike came trotting over to the sideline when Curry grabbed him by the facemask and gave him "the business."

Didn't hurt their recruiting. Probably helped it.
 
1) What did he do to draw the coach's anger?

2) What kind of society have we developed where this would be viewed negatively by recruits or their parents? Let me tell you, grabbing jerseys, slapping helmets, pulling facemasks... This is all part of the game.

It only is viewed negatively by some fans and some talking heads, never the players or their families. Think back to when Bob Knight hit that kid's chin up and the talking heads all went crazy and thought he was going to get fired. The kid and his parents thought it was no big deal and it was crazy that anyone was even talking about it...which it was.
