and yet, I see Tech fans on the board occasionally mention Houston Nutt as being a "good coach"

He had Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, AND Peyton Hillis (who is doing a fine job as Denver's starting FB) in the backfield last year and Arkansas didn't do a whole lot better than Tech did.

He truly was a complete loser of a coach. I say this with the utmost confidence. Give me one year to watch up close a solid coach run a solid program, I could coach better than Gailey. I truly mean that. And I could actually hire a competent person to call plays and recruit a decent QB.

I've been a TECH fan all my life and the only thing to compare Gailey to was Bill Lewis (forgive the mention)-- I should just forget and move on but every time I see him mentioned on this board I GRIT my teeth--Calvin and Tashard excelled IN SPITE of him-- I truly have NO doubt BOR would have been a better coach. This is not hindsight I screamed about him his last 3 seasons. (Please forgive the vent):hsugh:

Hell give me the chance. I'm confident I can manage a team better than Gailey. Lets take a straw poll. Given the choice of Chan Gailey coming back to coach, or me, who would everyone choose?
