How many introspective posts do you expect about Chris Griffin on a treadmill?

Crap, it was Shamire on the treadmill.

One of the best pizzas I've had was from Vinny's New York Style Pizza in Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor in Vilano Beach.

Is Vinny's New York Style Pizza not a chain? I see them everywhere. Or maybe there's just a lot of guys named Vinny out there who know how to make NY style pizza?

Since we are back on pizza:

Neapolitan / NY Style pizza has always been where it was at for me. Especially if the place was family owned and the guy making it was "off the boat". As LongforDodd said, Sicilian pizza, with its thicker crust is not something I would go out of my way to eat at my age - wasting precious calories on its thicker dough. Pizza(sic) Hut, to me, is still the fried dough shit that made them famous. I guess that since they started selling their "thin" crust 20 years ago they have won over some more people.

Given the limited choices for family owned local pizza places where I have lived (OTP), I went to Mellow Mushroom. A habit I had since back in my Tech days when it was my local favorite until Fellini's opened in the pie-wedge end of the Garden Hills shopping center (Fantasyland Records was nearby too!). Chollie's/Pero's was easily passed by on my way to Grumpy's - especially if it was Wednesday night.

Fellini's: I remember going into that strange little space, ordering a pizza, getting a weird picture-card and being shown the beer cooler where you helped yourself. Damn fine pizza. When you left you told the cashier what you ate and how much you drank and then they rang you up - similar to Juniors (I know, cool story bro). While she was at Tech, I took my daughter to the Fellini's near where Jade East used to be - they still do the picture-cards but you pay as you order now (another cool story). Pizza is still pretty good.

Thanks for the names of some places that I need to make note of when I am ITP looking for a pizza.

Note: only 45 days until kickoff.

Wasn't there a Fellinis on 10th Street where the Papa Johns is now? I remember that place being authentic NY style and so very good!

I ordered a pepperoni pizza right after the national championship in 1990 at Everybody's Pizza near Emory. It was finally delivered yesterday.
