Classy guy: Gailey honors commitment to Lunch Bunch after dismissal

Doubtful. What the hell would they do if he didn't show up, fire him?

Besides, he was removed at 10 a.m. this morning "effective immediately." At the time of Lunch Bunch, he wasn't contractually obligated to do it because he had no contract left.

Do you think that it had anything to do with him being contractually bound to show up?

absolutely not.

LunchBunch has nothing to do with GTAA...and it has been stood up on multiple occasions by coaches, etc...including one current coach.

No one expected him to come and they had a "stand in" ready to go when suddently Chan showed up to fulfill his obligation.

We should all just wish him well...and here is hoping we find a new coach with equal class to represent us.

It IS better because there are some good QB prospects in the pipeline, and because there are not 10+ players poised to flunk out because the academic advisors have been told by the head coach to load all the easy courses up front so the player can remain eligible as long as possible (or because there are very few "exceptions" on the football team as compared with GOL's last four recruiting classes).

Now let's see what the new guy can do!

there hasnt been a QB for 6 years, glad we have some on the way though. also glad we didnt finish in the top 25 under chan nor beat uga. Teflon Chan has a nice ring to it. besides what you say just isnt true about advisors

Well here we go again. Let's just ignore the fact that 4 of the players who flunked out were freshmen who were recruited by Chan and didn't last more than one year. But then facts have never been considered very important on this board by many.

Why not just leave it at, Chan's a classy guy who probably deserved better results so he could finish his contract.
