Clem's son meltdown thread....

I hate clemson...screw them. If we win the ACC we play in the orange bowl no matter if the every team in the ACC loses every game.
 
Bowden is truly a dumbarse. He's got Davis and Spiller but on his first series he plays a true freshman who fumbles deep in his own territory. Clearly Bama is ready and Clemson is not.

Sure, for now. In four years if we go undefeated and the ACC is no longer an autobid conference and we're not in the title game, I'm sure it will feel good.

Careful, there are actually some people on this board that think winning the ACC means something. Today it looks like it means that your as good as ECU.:mad:
 
As long as the ACC keeps its automatic BCS bid and as long as we win, I really couldn't care less about other ACC teams OOC record.

That just leads to another discussion entirely, as I am 110% sure that there are people in our fan base who would take a win over u[sic]ga even if the scenario you just described came to pass

You sure the ACC is going to keep it? When was the last time we won a BCS bowl again? Seven years ago?
 
Well just means that the ACC is wide open for Paul Johnson in year one. Starts next week at BC.

By the time this would happen, if ever, there'll be a playoff system in place anyways.

As for winning a national title, even this is secondary to beating Georgia for me.

Actually, I believe this is the only sport in which it's impossible to control your own fate. Your fate is determined by the BCS and the voters.
 
But seriously, is anyone surprised that Clemson is getting slapped around, that Thunder and Lightning are a no show? Disappointed yes; but if you've watched Clemson the past few years you know it isn't a matter of *if*, it is *when* are they going to collapse. They do this at least once every year.:ugh:
