Clemson and Tech are similar programs in many ways. I just happened to look up that, the last 5 years, we've won 37 games, and they've won 38. Like us, they are Jekyll and Hyde, and often look like worldbeaters early in the season, and then fold late.
I'm not any kind of football strategy expert, but last year really looked like Tenuta's defense was expecting Clemson to sling it around like they had been doing the last 5 years against us, and got caught off guard when they ran it right at us. Not saying we'll beat them, but I don't see them catching us flatfooted again this year.
F$U has had an inordinate amount of 4 and 5 star stinkers who didn't pan out, got injured or turned out to be hoodlums who had to be booted off the team (the WR Rouse). It's come home to roost on them, and all the top assistant coaches in the world can't fix that.
