Clemson Loses Two Practices

They can't be serious, can they? Losing 2 days of practice because you're not wearing the right thing? I'm glad CPJ and co. know the rules.

What's the logic behind this rule?

You're not allowed in pads until a certain day and they cheated by putting on things that emulated "pads".

Geez, now we have programs getting in trouble over what type of clothing is a pair of "shorts". How long can they be and still be considered shorts? Do they have to have an elastic waistband or a button and fly? How wide can the elastic waistband be before it gives the player an unfair advantage?

The bozos at the NCAA need to get a life and work on something important - like a playoff system.

I'm just glad it cuts down on the amount of practice they can put towards us. Dabo has got to know that losing to us would be bad, but losing to MTSU would be horrific.

Besides, the extra effort they put into learning the spread option won't really help them the rest of the year.

No matter whether they're legal or not, they definatly are gay...http://clemsontigers.cstv.com/view.gal?id=50962

Certainly nothing of Clemson's could possibly be gay.....

OK that has to b photoshopped. Head of a 12 year old on a mans body.

Seriously you guys missed this a couple of years ago? This was their kicker(punter?) Jad Dean. Dude caught hella flack from all the SCe fans for this photo shoot a la Joe Cox circa 2009. :laugher:

Yeah, that is no fake pic. He is the nephew of a fellow physician here in Macon, so have met him.

He was their kicker.

Did he change numbers? I just google imaged him and all the in-game pics have him as #7.

There is a certain logic behind the rule. Like other rules on overpracticing players, the NCAA says you can't take a kid right from summer break to practicing in full pads in the summer heat. Compression shorts emulated pads, which isn't a bad thing, but it made the first few practices more strenuous against the NCAA's wishes.

This photo shoot was to show off the new unis, they probably decided that 55 would show what it would look like better than 7.
