Clemson to run some option against us?

and they're going to call about 4 trick plays, minimum.

That's their offensive game plan. Bank it.

So basically what you're saying is that they will be calling a lot of Tommy Bowdenesque plays? Tommy Bowden ran more trick plays than anyone. That's why he failed, he didn't have an offense. His offense was trying to pitch the ball on the corners to Spiller, Bubble Screens and trick plays.

Their offense this year has been run-run-bubblescreen-punt, run-run-bubblescreen-punt. They haven't thrown the ball downfield all year. They'll be doing that vs us.

This is exactly what is happening at Auburn too. They fire the guy because he can't get "The Spread" to work but then insist that is what they are going to keep doing.

They fired him because he was being a dick in practice, actually. Apparently seriously crossed some lines with some players and/or coaches that it was unprofessional to cross. Tommy fired him on the spot for unprofessional behavior.

I read this AM that Harper may be back in as QB. All this uncertainty should be good for us. I doubt they try to make things worse by changing their offense this week.

I hope they do try to throw deep. Let their OL attempt to block MJ and Derrick Morgan for 4-5 seconds, I like my chances.

I also like our chances with their receivers trying to create space from Burnett and Co.

Being down two coaches while trying to plan for our new offense and defense should be good for us. Just preparing thier scout team to run our offense is a chore. But doing it without a full staff is going to be trouble.
