Alabama may have the gold medal when it comes to 'fans who have never set foot in a college classroom ... let alone a 9th grade classroom', but they do have 11 national championships to Clemsons 1. With Bama's latest coming more recently.

ok let me change it.....what about if they played the Taliban I would pull for the Taliban with Osama Bin Laden at QB and Saddam Huessein at RB?

While Osama may be the QB, Hussein could not be the RB, as he is DEAD. i think that Bin Laden is the RB, he has been running without getting caught for a while now. Hussein, the FORMER QB, got sacked pretty badly and is out forever.
 
They ran an article in the local sports page a few months ago talking about the SEC vs. ACC. With all of the upcoming games,(NCSU/USCe, Clemson/Bama, GT/Ugay, FSU/Florida, ect), hopefully we can redeem ourselves!

Au contraire, Clemson decides to let you down around October, so they'll handle this game. I'll pull for them for the same reason I'll pull for UVA against USC. Truthfully though, I'll pull a lot harder for GSU this weekend.
 
I live in Alabama, therefore I know how obnoxious these folks are, so I pull against them almost always (not to mention the old Dodd/Bryant rivalry, which I have become somewhat well versed in, though I wasn't alive at the time). Plus, I always pull for the conference, especially against the self-absorbed SEC. Go Clemson!
