He should be able to go to the draft this year. This man does not belong in college football.

just made a play unlike ive ever seen. that dude aint no joke
Clowney is terrific but Clowney had a dead-to-rights kill shot on a 170lb kid that was practically standing still when Clowney hit him.

so how the hell was that a first down? is the first down not at the stick itself?
It's the chain, not the stick.
Clowney makes some of the best plays I have ever seen. He also takes some time off while out on the field and sometimes takes some ridiculous rush routes that take him out of the play. If he could stay focused and play harder for more plays, he really could win the Heisman next season.
Dont see any Defensive Ends on this list...

Didn't see any freshmen either until this season. It's possible. Unlikely, but possible.
Respectfully disagree. I believe it has to at least touch the stick, but I could be wrong.
Link to a rule?
If Suh didn't win it in '09, then it would take a video game type season for Clowney to win the award.
The Heisman does seem to be slowly breaking the standard of best QB/RB on a team playing for the national title. Tebow, RG3 and Manziel were all teams not in the national title picture. If they really want to be the best player in national football, Clowney should be the front-runner for next year.
