Clumpsin @ Wake in-game thread

God, Clemson is awful. I mean Bama stole their pride and tore their heart out. They play like a bunch of pussies and their coach is a freakin idiot.
 
Clemson ain't gonna be fired up to play us. We should steam roll through these jokers.
 
Clemson seemed OK at best in the 2nd half. The 1st have was abysmal, like 30 yards or something.

So, who's the next HC at Clemson, Tony Franklin?

I cannot wait to play Clemson now. Not because I think it will be a good game, we should destroy Clemson like Ralph Friedgen at a Chinese buffet. I think Stuart Smalley is their O-Line coach. This game will show how good of a coach Paul Johnson is. These are the types of games that we would lose for the last few years. Us, riding high, with a chance to get real national attention, going against a lesser team who is clearly down for the count. Then we lay a fat turd on the field and begin our march towards seven. Also, it would be nice to be the team that drives home that final nail for them and claim Baby Bowden's scalp.
 
Looks like Papa Bowden will have to throw...err, lose another one to Clementine to try and save his son's job. Too little, too late this time IMO. Could/should be 3-5 going into the F$U game.

On the credibility index, Clemson board posts - even the "take-it-to-the-bank" posts are somewhere between subway graffiti and O J Simpson court testimony.
 
I didn't realize that of Clemson's 3 wins, the only one against a D-1A team was over NC State. But hey, they looked pretty solid against the Citadel and SC State.

They're even bigger phonies than UGA this year.
 
Clemson has enough defense to hang with us. They foiled Wake's run game all night.

They also have talent that could beat us on offense in Davis, Ford, Spiller. The coaches just can't figure out how to use the tools.

If we don't give them big plays on offense, there's no way they score more than 14.
 
PS - What's Spiller's status. Looked like a tweaked left hammy.

I still have nightmares from that night a few years ago when Davis and Spiller both ran for about 300 yards apeice against us. It seemed like we were in punt-blocking formation all night. Snap, handoff to [Davis/Spiller], he gets 8 inches past the line of scrimmage and everyone on the field is staring at his back as be blazes towards the end zone.

spiller did a hammy last night, ford was taken out after he got a knock (on the head?) and they lost another lineman. the weapons have been decommisioned.
