Coach Gailey's comments confusing

Re: Coach Gailey\'s comments confusing

It's kinda of funny how the subject of this post has evolved. I was not actually questioning CG decisions on this post (I have on other ones). I was just wondering why he used that reasoning and hoping someone could explain to me why he would rather have a QB that knew everything and not execute anything than a QB that could execute what he knows, but doesn't know everything.

I have enjoyed everyone's responses and I think this post has recieved the most responses one of my posts have every recieved. I didn't think anyone really read my posts to tell you the truth about it. You guys have a great night.

GO JACKETS!

Oh yeah Miss Jacket. Read your post and enjoy. Is interesting how this thread has come round circle. Even though I think I ticked some people off by probably not wording things correctly (my bad) and others may have misinterpreted me, this has been a good thread.

Re: Coach Gailey\'s comments confusing

Gold Rush, you make a very good pt. about the ups and downs of our various coaches being part of the reason we are questioning so much. Since CG has been away from the college game so long, there is a lack of trust and confidence that he knows all about the college game and what it takes to succeed.

GT does seem to have had an inordinate number of coaching changes, and, since our last regime was rather successful, it makes it a bit harder. It just may take some time.

Re: Coach Gailey\'s comments confusing

GTTerrific, as time goes by, you will probably see that I seldom get mad or get my feelings hurt. Many of my response posts are merely to show a different side to the original post or one of the subposts.

Sometimes, I am not responding because the post affects me personally. In these instances, I am making an attempt to show how your post would look to another person of a different view. I have occasionally made a rebuttal to a post because it was too harsh, even though I tended to agree, partially, with the thought of the one posting the harsh statements.

The secret is to enjoy the comments, teach others, learn from others, and learn not to take posts as personal attacks.

Since I don't take the AJC rag, this is my best forum for learning information about my favorite team.

By the way, I do have some definite ideas and feelings regarding many issues, and that becomes apparent with the history of my posts.

ahsoisee,

You stated,"By the way, I do have some definite ideas and feelings regarding many issues, and that becomes apparent with the history of my posts."

I believe that most people that read and post at StingTalk on a regular basis know this. Of course this is only my opinion. This doesn't make me a better poster than others regardless of age, race, or religion.

GTTerrific, I have no problems with your last statement and agree with it.
