Coaches hot seat today

I disagree. We can go 3-9 for at least 2 more years and CPJ's fan club will still say "but...but...but...2014!!".

CPJ will be here as long as he desires.

this

Orange Bowls for PJ =2 for everyone else in my lifetime =0

I'm a big CPJ fan, but if we have another season next year similar to this one, he definitely deserves to be on the hot seat (and it's fair to say it's warmed up now).

I don't think we're going to have another season this bad though.

He was 3-9 this year and is 35-37 over the last 6 years vs. FBS. Why would he not be on the hot seat?

As I read GT message boards, I wonder: When did we become Wake Forest?

In 2006?

When did Wake Forest start winning Orange Bowls over top 10 teams? Your shtick is getting old.

IF we go 3-9 again, PJ will be on the hot seat. Honestly, I think he would probably resign in that situation.

But that is a big IF. I think 10 wins is much more likely than 3, and the reality is probably somewhere in between.

I think PJ realized that he made some recruiting mistakes early in his tenure. Our last couple classes have been much better, but the damage was already done. We suffered a ridiculous amount of injuries this year and had no depth to keep us afloat.

He had 4 out of 5 returning linemen and the qb. You should be able to run some semblance of the offense with that.

Because 2014!!! Doesn't matter what happens for the next few years because 2014!!!

Kirk Ferentz was on the hot seat too.

We had abysmal luck this year and our recrod shows it. We were 1-6 in 1 possession games I think.

Georgia Tech is on the hot seat for having such a crappy administration.

Well , that's what he did. It bore some semblance of what we've seen, but that's about it.

Because take away 1 season and he's 34-28 with a conference championship with 3 appearances and a Bcs bowl win with 2 appearances.

If 3-9 becomes a trend then yea. But 1 season doesn't put someone on the hot seat.
