Really? He got run out of Auburn and let's face it, UCF didn't set the world on fire last weekend. Against us. I'm not dead set against the Gus Bus, but there have to be better alternatives out there.

I picked Chadwell as well... I do recall that probation. I think it had something to do with some players stealing something but I can't remember for sure. I remember coming across that when it was rumor. Was long ago, but I do recall thinking it was something that wasn't his fault. I've heard the Deion to Auburn rumors as well. Unless something changes, I'm more inclined to believe the Auburn rumor over him coming here.

An acquaintance was in Auburn last weekend and heard the "Deion is in town" rumors while he was in the Loveliest Village on the Plains.

Yeah, I read that he was the OC at Coastal before he became the IHC there, so it's definitely his offense. I was more pointing out that he's using an OC (or 2) rather than being his own OC like CPJ was.

It really is annoying to have chicken little fans like you.

1. Deion is rich. There is no evidence he is ONLY interested in money.
2. Deion's son would be playing for us. That would be a factor in making it likely that he will pick a place that he can stay for several years until his son graduates. He would just stay at JSU if he planned to move again in 2024.

I highly doubt Auburn is doing interviews for a HC while they still have one employed. They got murdered for that last time.

They would be back to working all this through back channels like not stupid teams would do. You can "interview" Deion without actually interviewing Deion.

In my opinion, Deion does not appear to be a good fit for Tech, but if he was chosen and agreed to come, I would support him. I don't think he has to "settle" for a STEM school with our limitations.

Chadwell, on the other hand, appears to be a solid fit for what is needed at Tech.

I would also love to get the guy from Iowa State, if that were possible.

We’re the wrong school for the Deion-to-P5 experiment. Hype men need to be able to make it rain. We don’t have that kind of money to throw around. GT would be a coaching career killer for him (he knows this, he’s not coming).

Not against those, but I'm trying to keep the choices based on what names are in big rumors among ST and other sites I'll have some more next poll just going with names I know of that are hot for us right now.

The search committee they hired does not care about ST rumors or names.

The last time we had a black head coach we played for a national championship. Blame the school/AD for the crummy contract…not the coach.

I’m 100% for hiring Deion. It would be amazing.
