Coaches Show Live @ Rocky Mtn. Pizza

They used to serve butterscotch sauce with their sweet potato fries when they first opened. It was fantastic.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza rocks.
RMP also made cool appearance in The Interns movie.
First time I was in Rocky after that film was made felt real weird. They "improved" the lighting to make it brighter in there, covered up all the graffiti in the bathroom. Didn't feel like the ol' Rocky I grew up on. Beer was still cold and buffalo chicken pizza was still good though.

Not being local, I have never heard pizza associated with the Rockies. Is it a particular type? The place sounds cool.

It’s just a loosely ski lodge themed pizza joint on 10th St. that’s lax about checking IDs. It’s fine, but the service has always been terrible and the whole place has been sticky since the day it opened.

Thanks for the info and for tempering my impression.

He just listed a bunch of selling points!

It's been 20 years, but I always really liked their pizza, and as others have pointed out, there aren't a lot of "college experience" bars within stumbling distance of campus.

Rocky Mountain is one of my favorite joints on the planet. I was able to get great pizza and beer there in the '90s when that wasn't easy.
When I was in school it was $2.25 I think for a shot of Jager. Not that I would ever partake in such risky decisions.

I went for the Clemson game. First time since Reggie Ball and NC State I think? Imagine my horror when I found out the Miller Lites aren't $1.75 anymore. Man Biden really is ruining everything. Lol
Not $1.75, but still cheap for Atlanta beer.

Wut, was it really there in the 90s?

Baked Strizatta, cheap pitchers, trivia, and $1 shots with all the sorority waitresses. The only place I would have traded it for was Giorgio’s on Collier next to Beer Mug. Both of those are sadly long gone.

Does anyone know what vintage of the "Chateau de Jager" they're currently serving? Asking for a friend who's going tonight?
