Coaching Support

In the good old days, I was called a FOC'er. Kinda miss it right now

So is this how it will be every season with you? When we play good you're happy and when we don't you're going to "call the coach out"?

No, if you would learn to read the post you would see that I was saying that it's not just the players' fault. Everyone is speaking bad about the players but I didn't hear much hating on the coaches. Many posts were like "the players didn't block at all." Like buzzlaw said (obviously the only one who read my post with some brains), for ever post against the coaches there was 5 against the players.

You keep hearing that the problem is keeping up our intensity. Well until we find someone who can block & someone who can pressure the quarterback intensity improvement will not solve the problem. We have not blocked nor pressured the quarterback in 6.5 quarters now. I say clear the bench until we find someone that wants to block & sack the quarterback. Same goes for A-backs & receivers-go sit the bench if you don't want to block. Meanwhile I hope we have some mean big uglies coming in & let's go recruit the right talent to feel this void.

I read your post. You talked about calling out the coach. That's what I responded to. Oh, and y ou still haven't answered the question.

BTW, the players didn't block worth a crap as a group. Yes the coaches are responsible, either to get them to perform or replace them. But you can't hide from the fact that they stunk up the joint and you can't absolve them of it either.

PJ would be higher with me if he was less arrogant. Alot of the stuff he says is like Charlie Weis. "Decided schematic advantage"... hah! Half the team quit on him last night.

This type of crap really grates on me. That game was 51-7 under Chan. The players kept the game within reach, however remote, down the stretch and I give PJ and the players credit for at least that.

Let's not all overreact. CPJ's lifetime record speaks for itself. The players looked very fatigued during the UM game. Also, I believe JN has made some mistakes with regards to reading the defense. He also passes into coverage and often overthrows. Perhaps as he matures CPJ will allow him to change the play at the line before the snap. Patience please.
