Looked closer to WWE than football. That second one was basically a Rock Bottom fifty yards away from the play. Even if it wasn't on a QB I'd call that a cheap shot.

Yes, absolutely, by today's standards. In a world where we know the true impact of head injuries, there is no place in the game for that type of play. The culture of ESPN's "JACKED UP" should be a thing of the past.
I'm not going to criticize Anoai because things were different 10+ years ago, but I would be pissed if one of our players did the same thing today.

There are some differences between the CC/BYU situation and what Anoai did on that play.
Curious fact, Auburn was actually flagged for two personal fouls on that play. Hall intercepted the ball at our 35, then we got 30 yds of penalty yardage, and started our next drive at the Auburn 35.

I don't have a problem with this either. You play until the whistle. This is what happens when a 300lb+ guy aggressively blocks a guy that is 180lbs soaking wet. After the INT, he's a defender like every other player and those types of blocks happen every play of every game down field from the ball carrier. Don't like it...stop throwing INTs or don't play football.
