I have some grass from the endzone from that day. I keep it in a special place.

As painful as the experience was, that was one of the most exciting games I've ever attended. Tech had dominated most of the game and UGA almost stole it except that Donnan got arrogant at the end instead of just having been willing to escape BDS with a win.
I am looking forward to watching again.

If Marvious Hester doesn't muff a punt late in the 3rd, we may score 60 and bury them. It was 41-24 before they got the ball back and ran off 24 unanswered. Marvious redeemed himself with a much bigger OT INT though.
 
I have a piece of the goal post that got torn down on my mantel. I think it took a week to get my voice back after that game.

My dad got a piece too. I was a little to young to go to that trip along with my dad and his friends. That goal post piece stayed on a shelf in our kitchen up until it got lost somehow after my dad's passing

I was there, and this is what I remember most about it because it really turned the game around. Uga had all the momentum after the muff punt, and Tech just couldn't stop 'em.
 
I really need to watch this game again. I was there, but I was also a student. So the details are a little hazy.
