well I suppose one thing you can say, there are many administrations who aren't sitting around saying "we don't have any money so let's watch this thing disintegrate into nothing." One solution is to find one of these coaches who will be sitting on fat buyouts and don't need tons of money in order to get back on the field. Not every coach getting fired was deserving. I think the Texas Tech coach got canned at 5-2? Take somebody else's mistake and may hay out of it.

Miami is ripe for recruiter-coach right now. UF and FSU don’t have guys who do that well. James Franklin could sweep in top 10 classes every year at the worst.

He was still a very young coach then. He reached the top level in the NFL.
