Not a cfb-related place, but talking about national recruiting for Big 10 schools the following exchange took place.

Person A
Most kids want to stay somewhat close to home and that is bad news for the Big 10 if UCF and USF are respectable. If they get second pick after the Big 3 that means that the leftovers will be that much worse.

Person B
And I would imagine that the ones that didn't get recruited by the Big 3 would rather go to UGA, GTech, Alabama or whatever other SEC/southern ACC team before going to Michigan. I know I would.



That's the company of talent people unrelated to the program are starting to put us in, now it's time to deliver tonight with a waffle-crushing of Clemson.
 
If we show up, we'll be fine.

I just hope its not another LSU where we're playing against a "recovering" team and we don't get serious enough against them.

I'm going to be loud and proud.

by the way, did you not see that ESPN created new conferences and put teams in them according to their power, and GT got into the "Bear Bryant Conference: Where powerhouse teams of championships and tradition reign supreme"

We were in it with Alabama, Auburn, Florida, USC, Texas, and Oklahoma (among others).

It's no secret, GT was great. I hate to sound like a Miami fan, but we're gonna get that way again real soon.
 
I don't see CPJ allowing a repeat of the Chicken Bowl debacle. I see that if there's even a hint of contentment or overconfidence that he'd pull out the highlight video from last New Year's eve and then send 'em back onto Rose Bowl Field.

To sound like a Miami fan you'd have to say it after every time you beat a team with a winning record. At least you waited for a season where we equaled the highest win total in the last decade as well as beating Georgia all with a first year head coach.

Ohh Ohh I wanna play!

To sound like a Miami fan you have to talk about youth before and after every game. If you win, your young talent is awesome. If you lose, the other team was simply more experienced than all your freshman starters(no matter how much younger the other team is than you) and *Current Year + 2* will be the year the Canes are back "for real".
