Congrats Andrew

Haha, wow, really? I knew all those thousands of posts would pay off one day.

Is the show available to listen to online?

He did mention your post count...I guess trying to verify if you were in fact a UGA troll on a GT site.

I think you can only listen live online... I don't think they archive entire shows

This thread is just a big troll, right? OP rightly assumes nobody actually listens to Chuck and Chernoff, and thus wouldn't be called out on it.

Can't speak for OP. I have a long commute and no satellite radio. Honestly, they haven't annoyed me as much lately.

Only more justification how little content those jack wagons actually produce.

At this point all they are is Chuck providing legitimate college football coverage and Chernoff inside joking it with the soundboard guy that abuses the privilege and makes the whole show sound like a circus. At least Chuck has the decency to hide his homerism for Auburn while on the broadcast.

I used to listen to Chuck and Chernoff inbetween segments on Finebaum. I don't even do that anymore.

I was TIC.

I'm still really confused by what C&C actually said. What post did they reference?

I haven't been annoyed by what C&C says about Tech. I'm more annoyed by all of the sports cliches on sports radio. For example, some sports radio person criticized the Steelers' tackling. He said, basically, "If you're the Steelers, then your franchise is built on good tackling," harking back to the 70's.

That's silly now with the salary cap. It's a job for NFL players and with the salary cap no franchise is going to innately be better at tackling. The silly "win one for the Gipper" cliches often lack all logic.

Why did they bring up stingtalk and what about?
Chuck was comparing a message board troll post suggesting UGA would look at hiring CPJ to Mark May's opinion that UGA should look at Mack Brown. Don't overthink it

FWIW, I've been listening to Chuck and Chernoff too and they're not as annoying as some of you make them sound.

They're radio trolls which I find entertaining. Most here get butthurt when they're trolling GT

Still kind of confused. But thats pretty hilarious. What post exactly are you referring too?

I actually find Chuck really entertaining and he has some pretty insightful comments about college football.

But then again, I don't generally get my panties in a wad every time someone says something that doesn't depict rainbows and unicorns flying out the arse of anything related to Tech.

Oliver knows his stuff better than most in his profession, but he can still get pretty stupid. In 2008 he was one of the folks that was absolutely convinced that we were going to have a really bad year because of the new offense. No reasoning outside of that, no accounting for the talent we had, simply "weird new offense = awful first season."

You'll find many GT fans who say that is what will happen the first year (or longer) when we switch from the weird old offense to a normal new offense.

Hopefully they're as wrong as he was.

"You have to remember that none of these players have seen a pass since they've been on campus. It's going to take a couple of years for our guys to learn to throw and catch a football, so a three win season won't surprise me. But once Coach gets his own players on the field, kids who played at high schools where they taught their players what passing was? Look out. Just my two cents."

I heard him mention a couple other STers and laugh, won't name names but I think they have been lurking here for a bit to get great info for their show!
