Very easy to get around this.

1) go to command prompt, type ipconfig and copy the IP address you get (should be something like 192.168.1.190 on a linksys router)

Find your router here: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

Click the link for your router and then select the Default guide (this is the one for the 54G http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/default.htm)

Follow it and you're good to invite anyone. It took me about 5 minutes to fix it yesterday.

The problem is when i do the static ip address part my router will not work. I guess I coudl go in and reset my router...that is the only way i can get it to pull up the password part of setting my router/modem properties.I have to use the dynamic one for my router to work. not a clue why the one at my work does this. i will try it tonight at home but my work modem/router is a netopia and for some reason when i use the static its just stops.... thanks for the help though

My code should work as soon as I get back to my house tonight, it did yesterday. I'm on campus right now, and that's behind a router that blocks the port.
 
I'm trying to get through this GTVA Code Listing stuff with my router and once I do I'll be set.
 
I keep getting an internal triggering error while trying to forward the port. Now what?
 
Okay, I couldn't get it to work, so I connected to a few of you but I can't connect to mmbt0ne.

Edit: Just read his post, nevermind.
 
Can someone help. I have the Alliance port that it is using, but I don't know where to go to add to my router. I have a Belkin PreN. Thanks, Yes I have downloaded the GTVA Code listing file, and I have gone through it and added those that would go through.

Yeah, I couldn't get my port forwarded, so I can't download anything from anyone on that program.
