Although I like for all defensive backs to be taller with a little more heft, we are in real good shape at this position. Jonathan Cox is a senior and should be a leader among the bunch. Despite being only 185lbs, I have seen him lay the wood to some running backs and receivers. So he is agressive as well as having the savy of a senior.

Reuben Houston has tons of talent and began to show it during the year until the problems got to the team at the end of the year. Kenny Scott comes in with a lot of credentials from high school and may push someone at the cornerback position.

Dennis Davis is a good cornerback with experience. I believe I would move I Perfection Harris to a receiving position and also let him return punts. He may be smallish at the position, although he may be very quick.

One thing for sure, we have plenty of bodies available at this position.

I look for this position to be strong with the starters. There should be a lot of competition among the remaining for the back up slots. Maybe we will get some surprises from the second line candidates.

Overall, I rate this a strong position, but vulnerable should injuries crop up.
