It's almost like helmets reflect the sun so on brighter days they may look lighter than the pants when compared to night/overcast ones.

The helmets are more of a metallic Tech Gold instead of a flat, dull gold

I work at an extrusion facility. We can change spinnerets to a different fiber cross section (delta, trilobal with high/low m/r, void,whatever) and run the exact same color with nearly the exact same settings and it will look like a different color based on how that particular cross section reflects light off of the surface. The color can look duller, brighter, more metallic based on cross section and to your eye will look like a different color.

Same with our helmets and jerseys. The fiber used to make the jersey, numbers, pants, socks, shoes are going to reflect light differently from each other and definitely different from the flat surface of the helmet.

Uniforms look great.

Gold numbers are great. Do not scrap them. Agree they can be done even better (98 Joe Hamilton) but don't throw them out!
