CPJ not messing around

The typo was top 100. I don’t know what his actual number is but I know it is in there
I don't know either... and my research did not make it easy to figure out. Paul Johnson finished with a record of 189-100. Per Wikipedia there are 89 coaches who had 200 college wins, so he well may be in the Top 100, or close to it.

That said, if you limit it to coaches' Div I wins (excluding the Mt. Union's and St. Mary's of the world), then CPJ climbs the ladder much more quickly. Only 23 of those 89 coaches had 200 wins at Div I schools. So potentially CPJ is somewhere in the neighborhood of the 25th winningest Div I coach of all time, since all of his wins came in Div I.

(All that said, I've never cared for "winningest" – meaning, most wins – as a measure of anything. Seems like highest winning percentage is better... I mean, CPJ finished with 189 wins and Urban Meyer with 187 wins... but CPJ had 100 losses (0.654) while Meyer only had 32 (0.854).)

Anyhow, interesting stuff.
