CPJ post game comments?*

Wow... I did not see this in the game at all.
Neither did I and the piece of garbage that was broadcasting it never made any mention of it. Similar to how you only ever know players were injured after they're finished showing six replays and nine close ups of the head coach.

I wonder if some of these lineman are going to miss the Miami game. If so we may be forced to play a freshman. How awful would that be.

I'm hoping we wouldn't do it. At this point, the ACCCG is out of reach and I really don't want to burn a RS, especially for OL, unless we flat don't have a warm eligible body to put there.

Geez, our guys got tore up in this game:

Summary of our injuries during the game
  • Left guard Cord Howard left with a head injury late in the first half
  • Cord's replacement, A.J. Smith, also got hurt
  • Third-stringers Jason Hill and Clyde Yandell were summoned; Hill finished the game
  • Vance Walker injured his leg in the first half and did not play after halftime
As if losing Andrew Gardner for the rest of the season isn't enough...

This explains why they started gouging us up the middle on the run. I was wondering why we suddenly lost our ability for gap control after manning up the entire first half against the run.

Tech missed two field goals for the third time this season

That's a bad stat to have. This bye week couldn't have come at a better time...this whole team is banged up and will hopefully be able to recover for Miami and U[sic]GA.

never was mentioned on the telecast...those guys absolutely suck and I hate when they air our games.. One time they called Burnett- Brunette, I swear!!! This is the first I heard of the injuries-

That even got a "What the Heck" from my 8-year-old daughter.

Uhh.. Gilbert was in through the end of the 4th quarter. I don't know what PJ is talking about unless he is readily admitting that Gilbert being in the game means he's not doing anything anyway.

I didn't hear it either.....they did a horrible job calling the game....The one that really had me wondering was when one of the announcers went off on some tangent about "getting your diamond collar out and talking YOUR DOG out for a walk....strut it around for everyone one to see!" I was like??? You've got to be kidding me. It was in reference to UNC's RB. And that's "professional"? Is kind of ironic when the announcers talk "trash" because the players on the field get 15 yds. when their actions get out of control....What's the reprocussions on a tv commentator? ha ha ha....Guess they just appear STUPID.

They had a love fest for UNC the entire game....until JD had the 85 yd. run & they quickly praised everything CPJ stood for & then it was back to bashing with the next turnover... Stupid. just call the game.

They were AWFUL. I also had no idea we had those injuries to the OL during the game. I also noticed they never brought up that Nesbitt was coming off injury until he hopped back to the huddle on one leg after a run. And it's not that we needed them to make excuses for Josh, but his health was the major storyline coming into the game, and they never totally oblivious to this.

Not to mention, it was obvious early in this game to anyone who had seen him play this year that Josh was hindered by the injury from the start. All the Raycom guy could do was compare yesterday's offense to the BC game from 2 months ago! Do these guys even do any game prep?

They started the whole broadcast by talking about the big fumbled caused by "Taylor Cooper" in the FSU game, in a pre-taped segment.

So no, I don't think they do.

They also called Michael Johnson---Michael Jackson---twice.

Additionally, they said Nesbitt had been dealing with an ankle injury the entire season.

I still don't know why we got moron Raycom when it was the first ranked v. ranked ACC matchup of the season. F-ing Raycom.
